Three-Legged Monster
Eric and I went to the doctor today for some diagnostic screening tests for Squirt. Here are some new pictures:
I'm sorry the pictures aren't clearer. The show that we got to see was much more illustrative. First of all, Squirt was "waving" at us. Second, we got very clear shots of Squirt's heartbeat (approximately 160, by the way, which is good), and Squirt's spine, ribs and face. Last but not least, we pestered the ultrasound tech to give us her guess as to whether Squirt is a boy or a girl. She wouldn't expressly give us her guess, because she said it's too early and she doesn't want to give us an incorrect prediction. But, she made a point of zooming in on Squirt's nether region and directing our attention to a "third leg."
This appointment was for diagnostic screening purposes, so we didn't see our regular doctor. We'll see our regular doctor on Friday, April 4, at which point we'll get the test results, and, hopefully, confirmation of our suspicions about Squirt's gender!

Li'l Dance Machine
On the ultrasound monitor yesterday, Squirt was dancing around like a little maniac! Easily identifiable legs and arms were moving all over the place. We also saw Squirt's heartbeat and umbilical cord.
Unfortunately, these pictures don't reflect the live action show that Eric and I witnessed, but you can see that Squirt now resembles a little tiny person:
